As Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season approaches, it’s time to examine how all 32 teams compare. The Power Rankings (TPR) is a full, fair, and data-driven team evaluation based on past success, coaching, and future potential. Check out the NFL week 7 power rankings for your favorite team.

All 32 Teams NFL Week 7 Power Rankings in 2024

1 San Francisco 49ers (5-1)

As expected, the 49ers are still at the top of the NFL Week 7 Power Rankings. Their defense, led by Nick Bosa, and offense, led by quarterback Brock Purdy, have made them stand out. The 49ers are still the team to beat, even though they lost by a small margin in Week 6. They have one of the best running attacks in the league and a defense that makes passing hard.

2 Kansas City Chiefs (5-1)

The Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes are back to their best after a rough start to the season. This year, the defense, led by Chris Jones, has made a big step forward. The link between Mahomes and Travis Kelce is clear. The Chiefs are once again a favorite to win the Bowl.

3 Philadelphia Eagles (5-1)

The Eagles’ only loss was in a close game against the Jets. The defense, which includes Haason Reddick and Darius Slay, is still one of the best in the NFL, and Jalen Hurts has continued to play at an MVP level. Philadelphia is one of the best teams because it plays hard on both sides of the ball.

4 Miami Dolphins (5-1)

The Dolphins’ high-octane offense is hard to stop, and Tua Tagovailoa has the most passing yards in the league. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are still a threat to defenses, and rookie running back De’Von Achane has made the attack even more vital. However, Miami must improve its defense to stay in the top five.

5 Detroit Lions (5-1)

Detroit has won five straight games and moved up in the NFL Week 7 Power Rankings. Jared Goff is the Lions’ quarterback, and David Montgomery is running the ball a lot. Aidan Hutchinson’s pass rush has strengthened the defense, which is playing better than it has in years.

6 Buffalo Bills (4-2)

Even though Tre’Davious White is out for the season, Buffalo isn’t always good, especially on defense. Because of how great Josh Allen is, the Bills have stayed in the top tier, but they’ll need to be more steady if they want to make the playoffs.

7 Dallas Cowboys (4-2)

After a terrible loss to the 49ers in Week 5, the Cowboys got back on track with a win over the Chargers. Micah Parsons steers Dallas’s defense to one of the best in the league. However, the offense needs to find a better rhythm to stay in the top tier of the NFL.

8 Baltimore Ravens (4-2)

The Ravens have had a good season under the radar. Under new coach Todd Monken, Lamar Jackson is in charge of a more balanced offense. The defense is still strong, especially against the run. Baltimore will need to be consistent if it wants to win the AFC North title.

9 Seattle Seahawks (4-1)

Bobby Wagner’s comeback and the rise of youngster Devon Witherspoon have made a huge difference in Seattle’s defense. Geno Smith continues to run the game well, and Kenneth Walker III leads a strong running game. The Seahawks have become a strong group all around.

10 Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2)

The Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence are starting to get going. They’ve become the team to beat in the AFC South after two straight wins in London. Travis Etienne Jr. has been great in the run game, and the defense, led by linebacker Josh Allen, keeps improving.

11 Cleveland Browns (3-2)

The Browns have one of the best defenses in the league, and Myles Garrett’s aggressive play makes it even better. But there are still questions about who will play quarterback since Deshaun Watson is hurt. They might be able to beat the other teams if Watson gets back to playing their best.

12 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2)

With Baker Mayfield in charge, Tampa Bay has been surprisingly good. They’ve been able to stay in games thanks to Lavonte David and Antoine Winfield Jr. on defense. But their offense needs to be more consistent if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.

13 Los Angeles Rams (3-3)

With Cooper Kupp back from illness, Matthew Stafford has given the Rams’ offense a new lease on life. Aaron Donald will continue to lead the defense, but the offensive line needs to play better for L.A. to keep their record at or above 500.

14 New Orleans Saints (3-3)

The Saints’ defense is still one of the best in the NFL, but the offense has had a hard time finding its way with Derek Carr at quarterback. New Orleans can try to make the playoffs if Alvin Kamara stays healthy and Carr gets his rhythm.

15 Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2)

Their offense is still not very good, but T.J. Watt and the rest of the defense have helped them get a winning record. Pittsburgh needs quarterback Kenny Pickett and the run game to improve if it wants to stay in the AFC North race.

16 Atlanta Falcons (3-3)

The Atlanta Falcons’ season has been inconsistent, with rookie running back Bijan Robinson showing moments of brilliance. However, the defense is still uncertain, and quarterback Desmond Ridder’s growth will be very important to the team’s success.

17 Indianapolis Colts (3-3)

Even though rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson got hurt, the Colts have been competitive. Gardner Minshew has done a great job filling in, and Jonathan Taylor’s comeback makes the offense more dynamic. If they want to stay in the running for the playoffs, their defense needs to step up.

18 Washington Commanders (3-3)

Washington’s defense has improved with Chase Young and Montez Sweat in charge. But with Sam Howell at quarterback, the offense is still unreliable. To advance to the next level, the Commanders need to improve their run game.

19 Green Bay Packers (2-3)

Last year, Jordan Love was a starter and showed potential, but he was also new to the job. There are rough spots for the Packers as they get used to life without Aaron Rodgers. That’s what the defense needs to do to help the young quarterback.

20 Houston Texans (3-3)

Seeing the Texans rise in the NFL Week 7 Power Rankings is a nice surprise. The defense, led by DeMeco Ryans, has been playing better than expected, and rookie Q.B. C.J. Stroud has been great. Texas is a team that is getting better.

21 New York Jets (3-3)

The Jets have come back strong since losing Aaron Rodgers in Week 1. The defense is one of the best in the NFL, and with Zach Wilson at quarterback, the offense has found ways to win. The Jets are still in the running for the playoffs.

22 Minnesota Vikings (2-4)

Close wins and problems with turnovers have marked Minnesota’s bad start. If the Vikings want to turn their season around, the defense must improve. Kirk Cousins and the offense can still score points.

23 Tennessee Titans (2-4)

The Titans are having a rough season because of injuries and lack of stability. Ryan Tannehill is having trouble as a quarterback, and some people want kid Will Levis to start. Derrick Henry is still a good backfield player.

24 Las Vegas Raiders (3-3)

Three wins for the Raiders are due to their defense and the play of Maxx Crosby, an edge rusher. But the offense hasn’t moved forward since Jimmy Garoppolo took over. To stay in the game, Las Vegas needs more from their skilled players.

25 New England Patriots (1-5)

The Patriots and Bill Belichick have had a rough season. The offense has had a hard time moving the ball. It’s possible that Mac Jones won’t be the main quarterback for much longer. Also, the defense hasn’t been able to carry the team like it used to.

26 Chicago Bears (1-5)

The Bears got their first win of the season, but nobody knows how consistent Justin Fields is. Fields have moments of brilliance, but the offense still can’t find a groove, and the defense is still weak.

27 Denver Broncos (1-5)

This has been a disappointing season for Denver. Russell Wilson and the offense haven’t found any steady success. They thought their defense would be strong, but it has been one of the worst in the league.

28 Arizona Cardinals (1-5)

The Cardinals have been better than expected, but they don’t have enough ability. Phoenix will need time to rebuild, but new head coach Jonathan Gannon is getting the most out of his players.

29 Carolina Panthers (0-6)

The Panthers are the only team in the NFL Week 7 Power Rankings that hasn’t won yet. Their new quarterback, Bryce Young, is helping them recover. The team has some good young quarterbacks, but it needs more playmakers on both sides of the ball.

30 New York Giants (1-5)

The Giants’ offense has been terrible and have had many problems. Daniel Jones has had a tough time because the offensive line isn’t very strong, and the defense hasn’t lived up to standards.

31 Cincinnati Bengals (2-3)

Joe Burrow’s calf injury has slowed down Cincinnati’s offense. Even though their defense has kept them in the game, the Bengals need Burrow to return to his old self if they want to move up in the NFL Week 7 Power Rankings.

32 Los Angeles Chargers (2-3)

The Chargers’ record doesn’t show how good their team is. Even though Justin Herbert has played well, the team has had many late-game meltdowns and bad coaching choices.
