Some teams are becoming strong contenders for the Super Bowl, while others need help consistently. The Power Rankings (TPR) give full information on all 32 teams based on their work, the trends, and what people think will happen in the rest of the season.
ALL 32 Teams NFL Week 6 Power Rankings
1 San Francisco 49ers
There is no doubt that the 49ers are the best team in the league. They have a perfect record and are one of the most balanced groups. They are the best team in the NFC, thanks to Nick Bosa’s strong defense and Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel’s diverse offense. Brock Purdy’s continued improvement at quarterback also helps their hopes of making the Super Bowl.
2 Kansas City Chiefs
Even though they had some early problems, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have looked good. Travis Kelce is still a key attacking weapon, and their defense is getting stronger. As of Week 6, they are the favorite in the AFC, largely thanks to Mahomes’s skill at making plays at crucial times.
3 Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles’ run to the Super Bowl last year wasn’t a fluke. Jalen Hurts leads the balanced approach, while the defensive line is in charge of the trenches. Philadelphia needs to stay consistent because it will be playing tougher teams in the next few weeks.
4 Buffalo Bills
The Bills have returned strongly after an early loss, with Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs leading the way. As a pass-rusher named Leonard Floyd has come on strong, the defense has also stepped up. Their game against the Giants in Week 6 could be a great example of how good they are.
5 Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins’ offense is one of the most powerful in the league because of how well Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill work together. But their defense problems could hurt their chances of making the playoffs. In Week 6, they’ll see if they can keep up with the best teams in the league.
6 Detroit Lions
Lions are outperforming expectations, and Jared Goff is playing his best football. Their defense has also gotten a lot better. Detroit is still in the running for the NFC North title in Week 6, thanks to even play on both sides of the ball.
7 Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys need help with consistency, but they are still one of the best teams in the NFC. Their defense is one of the best in the league, and Micah Parsons is in charge of it. Dallas can go far in the playoffs if Dak Prescott can improve his game.
8 Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson plays very well, but the Ravens have had many problems. Their defense is still strong, which helps them stay in games. Baltimore must show how tough they are in Week 6 to stay on top of the AFC North.
9 Cleveland Browns
The Browns’ defense has been amazing this season, and Myles Garrett is causing havoc on other teams’ offenses. But their offensive problems, especially at quarterback, keep them from being a top team. The offense has a chance to get back on track in Week 6.
10 Seattle Seahawks
Young players for the Seahawks are coming up, and quarterback Geno Smith keeps doing great things. Thanks to the rise of youngster Devon Witherspoon, their defense is also improving. Seattle is a team to watch as they try to make the playoffs.
11 Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers are showing signs of life after a rough start. Even though Justin Herbert is still great, the team needs to improve its defense and stop making mistakes that cost a lot of points. Week 6 has a good game that can help you get going.
12 Jacksonville Jaguars
Thanks to Trevor Lawrence, the Jaguars’ offense is moving in the right direction. Their defense could still be better, but they’re in a good spot in the AFC South. NFL week 6, Jacksonville will find out if they can beat the best teams in the conference.
13 Green Bay Packers
Jordan Love is in charge of the Packers, who are going through some changes. They’ve had moments of promise, but they need to be consistent. In week 6, you can get back on track by playing an opponent you can beat.
14 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Some teams have surprised us this season, and the Buccaneers are one of them. Baker Mayfield is playing great football. They’ve made the most of their defense, which could keep them in the running for the playoffs. Week 6 is very important for Tampa Bay to keep going.
15 New Orleans Saints
However, the Saints’ offense still needs improvement. Their defense is one of the best in the league. To help the defense, Derek Carr needs to do a better job. Their offense could make a big change in Week 6.
16 Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have been surprisingly tough, and rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson has been making big plays. Their defense is tough, which keeps them in the game. In Week 6, Indianapolis will try to stay ahead in the AFC South, which is still very open.
17 Minnesota Vikings
It’s been hard for the Vikings to avoid mistakes, which has kept them from winning games. The defense has also been all over the place, so Week 6 is a must-win to keep from falling too far behind in the NFC North.
18 Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons have a strong running game, and youngster Bijan Robinson is on the front lines. However, the moving attack still needs to be clarified. Week 6 will show how well they can work together as a team.
19 Pittsburgh Steelers
As always, the Steelers’ defense is strong, but their offense needs help. If Kenny Pickett steps up, they could be a surprise in the AFC. This week’s game is very important for seeing if they can stay in the race for first place in the division.
20 Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are strengthening, especially after Matthew Stafford connected with junior star Puka Nacua. Even though their defense isn’t perfect, they’re still in the hunt in the NFC West. The Rams can get going in Week 6.
21 New York Jets
Without Aaron Rodgers, the Jets are having a hard time because Zach Wilson can’t regularly lead the offense. Their defense is strong, but their offense could be better, so they aren’t a real threat. The Jets must do well in Week 6 to stay in the AFC East.
22 Tennessee Titans
The Titans are a mystery because they can play great football one week, and the next week, they can’t. Derrick Henry is still the star, but they need to get better at throwing. Tennessee’s season will either end or begin in Week 6.
23 Houston Texans
As the Texans’ rookie quarterback, C.J. Stroud is showing potential and giving the team a boost. Houston needs to improve its defense if it wants to be more than a young, up-and-coming team. Week 6 will show how far it has come.
24 Washington Commanders
The Commanders need to be more steady on offense. The offensive line has struggled, but Sam Howell has shown signs of improvement. Defense keeps them in games, but Week 6 is a chance to turn things around.
25 Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders need help with injuries and regularity, and Jimmy Garoppolo is still getting used to his new job. Their defense is playing better than expected, but they need to add more power to their offense. Week 6 is a chance to get things back on track.
26 Arizona Cardinals
To rebuild, the Cardinals have put up a lot of fight. It’s been hard without Kyler Murray, but Joshua Dobbs has done a great job filling in. In Week 6, there might be a chance to pull off an upset.
27 New York Giants
The Giants stepped back after making the playoffs last year. The offensive line has yet to do much to help Daniel Jones, who is having a tough game. Week 6 gives us a chance to start over and save the season.
28 Chicago Bears
The Bears are still struggling, and Justin Fields is only occasionally improving. Their defense is one of the worst in the league, so things won’t improve. Week 6 is very important if they want to start moving forward.
29 Denver Broncos
The Broncos have been one of the worst teams in the league. Russell Wilson’s play has improved, but that hasn’t led to any wins. Their defense has allowed a lot of points through, and Week 6 looks like it will be a must-win.
30 Carolina Panthers
The Panthers are starting to rebuild, and Bryce Young is going through the normal growing pains of a newbie. They are at the bottom of the league because their defense could have been better. Week 6 is a chance to show that you’ve made growth.
31 New England Patriots
The Patriots’ offense is struggling under Mac Jones, and the defense hasn’t been able to keep up. Bill Belichick is having one of the toughest seasons of his career so far. Week 6 will be very important for New England to avoid falling further behind.
32 Cincinnati Bengals
Surprisingly, the Bengals are at the bottom of the league. Joe Burrow has been hurt for a while and has trouble returning to normal. Their offense has mostly stayed the same, and their defense isn’t doing what they should. If Burrow can get back to full strength by Week 6, things could change.
